The Edge Group Products fee structure
Introductory Principles
All products within the value chain of the Edge Group are priced as individual products. Individual products are priced at a premium and if delivered individually will be at the higher end of the market price range, although, no doubt, value for money.
As far as possible, on quotation of a specific product, the quotation will include and indicate as such all the tools and extra costs needed to complete a quality product or project. This will include items like transport, material, tools, equipment, accommodation, etc.
The Edge Group is registered for VAT on most of its products. Quotations will exclude VAT, but invoices will include VAT.
The primary principle in the pricing of products from the Edge Group is that the stated outcome of The Edge Group is to ensure results and growth. This is reflected in the suggested project value chains as the Edge Group believes it is not only one thing that ensures success and growth, but the sum total of various activities and actions that will bring the desired outcome.
This holistic view of projects and outcomes means that the customers of the Edge Group mostly use a variety of products and tools facilitated by the Edge Group to achieve success and growth. Therefore the pricing principle to encourage customers to activate the success and growth principle, is to price the combination of products far more competitively than individual products. This will not only encourage more value for money, but ultimately this combination of products will ensure the desired outcome of results, success and growth.
A proper need analysis of the customer and specific measurable results are essential for an effective projects presentation and quotation.
Obviously customers can choose whatever product they desire, but with the experience of the past 20 years, it is clear that sustainability is a multi-level activity and not a once-off. Excellence is created from a multitude of small increments and interventions!
Terms: With the training and speech products there is a 50% deposit payable at the start of the project because of the scope of these projects.
Further terms are negotiable, but are normally linked to outcomes and measurable milestones.

basic pricing
the speech
Pricing is done from the delivery point of view. Various tools, props and equipment are used and included in the price. However, a quality stage and sound system is essential to ensure a quality product. The audience and venue size will determine much of the requirements. If a customer wishes to use his/her own infrastructure to cover the basic platform to deliver a quality product, it is encouraged - a Rider (minimum standards and requirements) will be forwarded to the customer.
If this infrastructure doesn’t satisfy the basic quality standards or the customer chooses to out-source this function, the Edge Group will gladly facilitate this function.

the training
The pricing below is done on the individual products.
The principles described in the Introductory Principles are especially relevant to this section. PLEASE READ AGAIN.
Because this product is so adaptable and can be designed to meet any training need, also in any combination, it is not possible to give an indication of each combination. The size of the company, number of learners, interventions, etc make it very difficult to give pricing for all scenarios. This is the reason why an effective need analysis and project scope is so important to give a cost- effective price quotation.
Suffice to state that some projects can even be priced at an incredible 50% discount due to these variations. Please feel free to request a thorough need analysis.

the centre of excellence
The Centre of Excellence has three ways to access the content and value. All three are based on a membership access platform.
- The first membership method is the most cost-effective, but also the most exclusive as it is part of the Edge Badminton Academy product offer. Either the Olympic product (Mandatory) or the Elite product (Voluntary). In both cases the product is included in the product offer.
- The second membership method is the Mandatory offer. This membership entails that the member pays a monthly membership fee to access the programme. The Mandatory in the title refers to the membership entailing that the member follows strict time and project limits with expected activities being of a certain standard to access the next milestone activity. This is the premier product and very intensive.
- The last membership method is the Voluntary offer. It is also accessed through a monthly membership fee with the difference that there are no time limits or standard hurdles to clear to continue with the programme. This is more affordable, but lacks a vital evaluating and testing element and simply means the member applies his/her own discipline to gain the most value from the programme.
The Mandatory offer has the option to access personal sessions with the programme designer that will act as a mentor throughout the programme. This has a premier costing as the designer charges hourly rates. It is advised that members first attempt to follow the programme without a mentor option, but the value is available if needed. Please note: The mentor is not a life coach or pshycologist and uses his knowledge, skills, and experience as the basis of his input.
-
First option: Refer to Badminton Academy pricing -
Mandatory membership: R500.00 per month -
Voluntary membership: R200.00 per month - Mentorship: R1 000.00 per 60-minute session
When a threshold of 20 new members is reached, they will form a group that will receive a monthly free coaching session which will be in the form of an/a inspirational/motivational 1-hour-in-person session or Zoom/Team session.
